Week of December 7
This was a sad week... Ryken was sick with the flu (we think) for the greater part of the week, and Sorraya had a runny nose.
Ryken has never been this sick before. He had a fever for a few days. Low energy. Chills. Aches. And he said his teeth hurt...not sure if it was actually his teeth or his throat. Thankfully no throwing up!
He hardly played at all. Just wanted to lay on the chair/couch and watch tv or listen to music and sleep!

He did want to draw some though! It's fun to see how much his coloring has improved. He used to hardly even draw, but now he is all over the place and loves all the different colors! He didn't draw the stick men...but he was coloring a beard on dad, himself and even Raya! haha!

A lady from my Mom's group who lives down our street dropped by this "Do you want to build a snowman?" gift for Ryken. It was perfect to cheer him up while feeling crummy.

See the white piece around the snowman's wrist? Well I didn't know what that piece was, so I told him it must be a bracelet (hesitantly, but stuck with it). My poor child. Of course it's not a bracelet. But hey, I grew up in AZ, we didn't see a lot of snowmen!
Chris set him straight later! It's the buckle on the snowman's hat! :)
It's really meant to stick to the window...but it was too dark when he woke up from his late nap to do it on the window the day Kate brought it by.
It is just from pieces and you spray them with a water bottle and they stick!
Easy!

We get to bring it too the next fellowship meal at church for others to enjoy the goodness!!

Oh... poor Ryken. You can definitely tell he is not feeling well with him laying there. He is usually so much on the go! That snowman is really cute! Hahaha! A bracelet! Your funny! Yummy! Smoked brisket is one of my absolute favorite smoker meals I have had from someone! I could eat it every day :)
