Day 2 Day Joys

Week of November 30

Daddy sharing his lollipop! She loved it!
Playing under the table!
Tuesday, at Exhale, it was a Christmas breakfast. There were volunteer's that came in to watch the kids so all the ladies could enjoy the breakfast (since we usually take turns serving to childcare). It was a nice morning. We had a catered breakfast. We had some singing. We had some gift basket winnings. We had a speaker that spoke on one of the beatitudes. And then we had much more time to just talk and chat since our next one won't be till the first of the year. It was a lovely morning.
Chris went to the Grand Forks, ND facility for work one day and he had to wear this hair net and beard net while there. He brought it home and Ryken tried it on! haha!
Books with daddy!
Play dough snowman!
He asked for a carrot for the nose even! :)
I had remembered that I had gotten this window clinger last year...and found it! He had a blast with it and was SO excited to show daddy when he got him!
Picking out his new ball from finishing his pee-pee chart!
Surrey's short cut!
When she is over in the living room playing and she wants to be with us in the kitchen, she hardly ever goes around the chair...but she squeezes through here! It's too funny how consistent she is!
Snuggled up and reading books! Love finding him like this!
Ready to make snow angles!...or just go outside!
On Friday, we surprised Dad with a drink from Sonic (during happy hour - half off drinks)!!
Ryken always wants to go and see the forklifts. So we did and they were busy this time of the day, so that was fun for him. Plus all the drivers are so kind to wave at him each time they pass!
There are many rooms around the warehouse, but some just turned into some more offices and they are quite a walk, so the company got this little warehouse cart that they can drive it back to the offices when they need to go back there. Dad took Ryken on a little ride. He liked it and it was fun to see Chris zipping around on the cart!!!
Evening play time with dad!! I live how Raya is sneaking through the "tunnel"!!!...
...which made us think to get out the real tunnel and see what she would do!
She went right to it and crawled through right away!
She would just go back and forth, back and forth. She wouldn't come out, just sit back and start crawling the other way back through it!
Ryken liked seeing Raya figuring it out!
He also liked to boss her around!
So much fun jumping on the air mattress!
Shoe shopping with Dad!
We took a trip to the mall and Ryken got to see his 3 favorite things while there!
Fish!
Baseballs
 (Rodger Maris museum)
Puppies and Bunnies!
Picked out our Christmas tree!!
Pretty Sunset!
Saturday night, we watched the Johnson kids, Savannah (4) and James (2.5) while their parents went to their work's Christmas party!
The whole family actually spent the night. They live an hour away and they didn't want to have to drive home late after the party, then turn around early in the morning to make it back for Sunday School at 9am. So they spent the night! It was fun!
Savannah asked multiple times to hold Sorraya! Heather (Savannah's mom) is due with baby #3 in March...so she is excited and will be a big helper!
We did some crafts!!
Lame...last minute crafts!!
But they loved them!
These two play so sweet together!!
Making rain drops!
Then we stuck a pipe cleaner through the middle of muffin papers and folded it over so they looked like little umbrellas!
We made English Muffin pizzas for supper! The kids loved putting their own toppings on...or should I say eating their toppings! Surprised there was any toppings left to put on the pizzas!
It was wild and loud! But the kids had fun and we were happy to have extra guests over!

Celebrating the ordinary moments that make life extraordinary!
