Back At It

Two weeks ago, we started swim lessons again!

This time without Rebecca and Josiah! :(

They have changed it a little bit this time. Both classes are together and we have two teachers. Two different teachers, and new ones we have never had before. It was nice!

This past week, Loretta came to watch and she was nice enough to take some pictures too!

Ryken thought the lockers were fun to go in and out of!

 We just made it into the water and he was splashing like crazy right away! Happy to be in the water!

 This week, we work on submersion.

These teachers taught it differently from the last teachers. And it worked better! He liked it!

First the parents told their kids that we were going to close our eyes and mouth and go under.

Then we went under the water and came up with a BIG smile on our face!

 Then it was their turn.

We had to blow in between their nose and mouth and that will help them naturally hold their breath.

We practiced that a little bit.

Then we counted to 3, blew on their face and then out them down right before us and then pushed them out a little in front of us and then up.

He smiled each time we did it! 

We have come so far from last time! 

I was so excited and encouraged!

At the end we got to free play and Ryken floated on the magic carpet!
