Another full week of learning!
Read a square book!
Matched square buttons to the squares on paper.
It was during this activity, I started singing about squares...making up a silly song.
But he loved it so I kept on going.
He eventually tried to sing it with me and said square a few times!
Matched up our square Mother Goose books to the squares on the paper.
Then he thought it was more fun to sit on the paper.
Jenn sent this square template over and we colored it!
And made it into a cube! Lots of squares!
Then he ate it! Oh well!
We went on a square hunt around the house with post-it notes!
He liked the dishwasher the best!
We liked the calendar in this book! Lots of squares there!
Put our square shaped pipe cleaners around pencils!
Then we sorted the big from the little!
Then Ryken found out they fit over his hands and wore them on his wrist!
We ziploc bag painted.
He didn't care for this very much! So mom did it! :)
Here he is telling me he is all done! Too funny!
Since it was Tuesday, and we were looking at Calendars... we colored a calendar!
And wrote a birthday message to Aunt Kristin...since it was her day!
Ryken matched up his big and little square books to the squares on the paper!
We got a fun surprise in the mail from Grandma and a bag from the Cheerios book fit in with squares.
It looked like a checker board which we had seen in our book from Monday!
Ryken ate off the Cheerios that mommy put on...and then he tried to put a few on...and just a few it was!
We ate square crackers and square pieces of cheese for snack.
Ryken watched mommy stick square post-it notes to his square window...he was a little too excited about being up high!
But he helped mommy take them down, one by one!
We made our square collage!
Had some more square snacks:
Graham crackers and chex
Ryken was busy putting square buttons into the square hole in the square box!!
The purpose of this was to put the pieces of paper onto the popsicle stick...but he didn't like that. When I showed him what to do, he took them off and put them in the middle of the square!
That worked for me!
After prying two pieces of paper out of his mouth, he was silly again and made a frame around his face with his square!
Of course we had to make a bag head!!
With square eyes, noes and mouth!
(Too bad we weren't closer to pumpkin season)
Mom made one too! haha!
Since Ryken loves stacking...we stacked his colorful square blocks!
It's Friday...so we made
Jello Squares!
He loves to stand on the chair and stir!!
Once they set, we went to the park and at on our square blanket and at our jello squares!
They were a hit!
It was beautiful out!
We had some cheese -its too! :)
To end the week...we sent a card in a square envelope.
Ryken colored it and mommy wrote in it!
Another fun week behind us!
Next week is Triangles!!
