Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful for:

an imagination

Here Ryken is pretending to put water in his cup.

Once he can actually reach it, we will have to make some rules…so we don't have huge water messes!

Chris and I just watch Ryken play and can't help but smile.

He has such a fun imagination.

We wish we knew what all is going through his mind when he plays with his toys.

Whether it is something he is chattering about,

the faces he makes when he plays and talks,

the actions he does while playing…

It is all so interesting and entertaining!

One he does most often is when we are sitting in church, he will play with our open hands. He pretends he is picking something out of our hands and then he eats it. He even pretends to chew.

Last week, he "took a bite" and then he took a drink from his sippy cup. And kept taking a bite and then a drink. It was funny! Good thing we sit in the back! ;)

We are thankful for the imagination that God has given our Ryken and enjoy the entertainment and smiles that come along with it.
