Fun Weekend

What a fun weekend it was!

Ryken got to play in the snow for the first time…and enjoy it!! :)

Chris needed to shovel, it wasn't in the negatives and there was hardly any wind. It really was a perfect day to get out and play in the snow and daddy was home to. A bonus.

Ryken in his many layers and snow clothes.  Ready and SO excited to go and play in the "no" with dad!

 Dad brought out a little shovel for Ryken, but with those gloves on, he was more frustrated than anything. So, that was the end of the shovel.

Pretty much as soon as he turned around he fell face first in the snow and had it all over his face. I was hoping that he wouldn't cry and want to be done. Thankfully, he didn't. Dad picked him up and more running around he did!

He supervised as Dad shoveled! And he liked when dad would make the shovel come at him full of snow! 

 Love the little footprints! 

 He got the hang of catching himself when he almost fell!

 He had a blast and it will be a fun thing for him for many years to come! :)

Ryken's big boy bed is set up and ready to go for when we start using it!

We let him on it for the first time and he thought it was the neatest thing! 

It's his!

 …that didn't take long! :)

 He laid down on it, since that is what you do on a bed! 

Got to test it out! 

Also, dad was putting up the blinds in the guest room, and in the box was thin strips of bubble wrap.

We lined them up in the hall and he had a blast running along them and hearing them pop.

Then dad joined in and was chasing him, and that made it all the more fun!

 Lots of smiles, squeals and giggles! 

You can NEVER hear to many of those!

Can't help but smile thinking of a little girls giggle in the mix!!
