Day 2 Day Joys: Apr 12-18

Week of April 12
Put the fire hat on all by herself!
This girl hardly sits in carts the right way. She is always twisted and looks so uncomfortable. She will even get out of her seat belt a number of times! I have to keep my eye on her!
But I love the way her little feet are crossed in this picture!
Sharing his popsicle with his sister!
Our new favorite thing is freezing orange juice into a popsicle mold!
Ryken is so excited to get his own baseball glove when he gets bigger! So in Target the other day we stopped by them to look at them and try them on! We had to give the helmet a try too!
The field by our house is the perfect walking distance and then it is such a good spot to kick and throw balls around!
Now that Sorraya is walking it is so much more enjoyable for her and we can stay longer!
This girl eats more dirt, grass, twigs and rocks than her brother ever did!
A boy and his bat!
Sunset hugs!
We watched the sunset together on our walk back home!
We ran one quick errand and I didn't want to go home yet, so we stopped at this park and swung on the swings!
But this park is in one of the newest neighborhoods and there were huge piles of wood chips all around the park...like mounds of them. Also the sidewalk that we started on toward the park was not completed at the end of it closer to the park, so we pushed our way through the dirt. It clearly was not meant to be played on yet, but we got over the big mounds of wood chips and  they had a blast swinging!
Open gym this week while waiting for the firetruck!
He loved picking up all the balls and putting them in this big bucket and then offering them to others!
We had a firetruck come specifically for our Exhale group this week!
What a treat!!
They opened up every door and cabinet for them to see inside.
Ryken asked why did they have so many garage doors?! Cute!
Hard to tell, but they turned the lights on for all to see!
They showed how they put the ladder down so the firemen can reach it!
He loved it and listened very intently when they were talking!
About half way through the time there, they got a call, and they had to quickly get dresses and were about to leave...but it ended up being a false call!
But it was neat to see them get dressed quickly, thinking it was a real call!
(it was bright!) :)
All the kids with the firemen and fire chief!
Thanks Fargo 802!!
Waving bye!!
We went back into the gym afterwards and had juice and crackers!
Beautiful day for the park! She loved toddling around!
She is our brave one!! Always ready to climb up on something!
And she tumbles so gracefully too!
Drawing with chalk!
Ryken and the new neighbor boy "chalking" together! :)
She hears the fridge open and drops everything! :)
Ryken loves to come and wake Sorraya up and he even asks to get in her crib from time to time!
She's as happy to see him, as he is to see her!
Friday, it's garbage day! :)
We always hear it and run up the stairs to watch!
Oh and you can see the hole in the window from where someone shot a BB gun at it! :/
It was warm and beautiful...so we had our first Picnic at the Airport!
Sorraya enjoyed it very much as well!
She would point to each plane that went by!
The first of many!!! :)
After naps, we went and flew our kite in the field near us!!
Ryken did great keeping it up!
We had the Davidson's over on Friday and went on a walk after supper!
We love it when we can get out and play at the park!
It was a beautiful Saturday so we couldn't pass it up!
She found some dirt....
Ryken climbed up this "mountain" all by himself!

Celebrating the ordinary moments that make life extraordinary!
