Brucks Visit

Chris' parents, middle sister and our youngest nephew came for the weekend!
They came Saturday around 1:00pm and left Sunday at 5:00pm. It is never long enough, but we are thankful they take the time and make the effort!

Matthew was showing Ryken all the animals he brought!
We went to the park for the kids to play for a bit before supper!
Ryken loved Papa pushing him in the swing!
She has little fear! She would climb up the slide if she could!
Matthew is always ready to help.
He had a blast pushing Ryken!
Ryken didn't want to go down this slide by himself, but Nana offered to take him down and he was up for that...and enjoyed it!! But once was enough! :)
Showing Papa how he can climb the "mountain"!
We rarely go to the park without getting the soccer balls out!
The boys had fun kicking them around!
We had a big rain storm that the kids liked to watch. There was some good lighting too!
Meanwhile...Chris was outside smoking our supper!
We had smoked salmon for supper. It turned out fantastic!!
Chris often makes up his own recipes for the rub for the meats that he smokes!
Thankfully we wrote this one down! :)
Dressed up and ready for church! :)
Running a few errands while my kids were napping after lunch, Matthew was getting some Mike n Ikes for he and Ryken to share! What a friend!
Enjoying their treat together!
It was such a nice time!
We also planned a small vacation with them to SD in September while they were here that we are all very much looking forward to!
