Worshiped with Valley Baptist Church again this week!
Ryken had this awful rash that covered his body this week and it juts kept getting worse.
So Monday, I took him to see if anyone knew what was going on. They didn't, but they suggested some allergy medicine that would kick in in 2-3 days.
While waiting for the Doctor, he loved looking at all the sports items on the walls. There was baseball, hockey and football. But baseball still seems to be his favorite!
This boy has been signing a whole lot more lately! I came down and found his singing at the top of his lungs into his spoon! :)
Sometimes he makes up songs, and other times he sings ones he knows!
It's a joy to hear him singing the Psalms that we are leaning as a family that we sing each night!
Wednesday, we went out to Valley City to spend time with friends!
This was a shot of the kids (minus Hunter) before we took a walk.
Not a very good one, but it was the best out of the 4 I took! haha!
The kids were holding hands as they walked!
A lady from our church was interning in Valley City for 5 weeks and so Heather invited me to come and have lunch with her. Thankfully, we found out the day before that it was her birthday!
We met at the Vault and brought out lunch!
The Vault was an old bank that was bought and turned into a coffee shop that runs on the honor system!
They are tons of K cups and snacks around that had suggested prices but give what you could! There were tables, books and games for everyone to use! Such a neat place!
The boys enjoying an ice cream treat after lunch!
There was this little stage and there was a microphone stand on the stage that Ryken and James enjoyed singing into!
All of us!!
The birthday girl is pretty much hidden, but is the lady in the far right back corner!
Sorraya loved baby Hunter! She liked to touch him!
On our way home, we took a pit stop and got a picture with this old train that was sitting out in front of a museum!
Silly kids, silly faces!
An afternoon of chalk!
She kept putting it on her noes and eating it!
Saturday, we over seeded our lawn!
Ryken was so eager to help Daddy and be involved!
The Sun came out, so we went to a park before supper!
Chris wanted to treat us to some Pizza at a new place that he just tried.
It was tasty!
Ryken was excited to have a little pop all to himself!
Sorraya even got a sip and her face was hilarious. You don't expect a bubbly drink when you never had one before! :)
Celebrating the ordinary moments that make life extraordinary!

Wow! A restaurant run on the honor system. Sadly, you can't do that in too many places these days :( But really cool that a few do still exist. Love the picture of Ryken by the train. Very good one! And pizza sounds so good right now!! Yum!
