A couple from church told me about this abandon orchard that is just south of Fargo.
It's abandoned, cars can't access the loop around the orchard. You just park out front, and then walk back to it and walk around. But the apples still produce every year and people can come, bring their ladders and pick apples whenever they want.
How fun!!
I looked it up and found directions and figured we would go check it out.
We were past the time when the good apples were still on the trees, but we saw a few little ones and lots of apples on the ground. So next year, we will have to go before all the apples fall to the ground. But it is a beautiful place for being abandoned and not kept up at all.
There was this cute little swing in the tree!
It was very wobbly and not very easy for a little guy to sit on it.
He sat for a short moment without looking terrified...but then that was it and he wanted off. I was just praying he wouldn't just let go and fall back. Thankfully he didn't!
But since he didn't like it...I got a picture on it! haha!
But he did stand next to it with no problem and posed with some sweet smiles!
Momma drug a wooden crate into the orchard and we had a photo shoot!
Ryken picking an apple!
There were very few that he could reach with me holding him...but we found a few!
You wouldn't want to eat them though!
Oh it was fun! And we look forward to bring daddy with us next year and pick baskets full of apples!

That place looks so cool!! And I love that you just dragged your props in and made a photo shoot! Those are some really good pictures and the background is just gorgeous. I love the picture of Ryken standing next to the swing and of course the ones of both sweeties sitting on the crate. So fallish! And so great!
ReplyDeleteThis pictures of the kiddos turned out SO well! That crate is the perfect prop for that setting! That swing picture or Ryken is cute too! So many fall events for you to do! How fun!!!
