Week of October 5
We started the week off sick! Over the weekend, all 4 of us had something at some point!
So the kids and I stayed home from church and did some water coloring and snuggled.
Poor thing had snot fountains. She was a good sport as long as you weren't cleaning the snot off her face!
What's the best thing to do when sick...take a bath!
First time the two were in the tub together without any support for Sorraya! They had a blast!
One day when we were upstairs playing and the dryer was going...Sorraya came over and sat right up against the dryer and stayed there for the longest time. She loved the vibrations and the warmth (we think). Ryken had to check it out too!
Plenty of snuggles as the week went on and the colds got worse! :( At least they still had some smiles in them!
We went to an apple orchard!
Little miss Sorraya is brave and has started climbing up on things and stand. She is quite pleased with herself for doing so. *Stop growing up so fast! Slow down!*
A couple weeks ago, we bought a baby gate and it didn't fit in the stairwells.
Sorraya fell down this flight of stairs! :( It was awful to watch and thankfully she was ok!
That afternoon, we went to the store and got one that would fit and Chris put it up right away. We all feel much better knowing she is safe.

Chris found Sorraya sitting in the bin and playing with the toys!
Ryken and Daddy made a quick trip to his work and Ryken got to sit on a forklift after talking about it the whole way there!
We went to Buffalo River Pumpkin Patch on Saturday evening. It was nice out and a fun time together!

Oh no! Sickness and falling down stairs! Not the best of weeks but it looks like it ended so good with that cute family picture at the Pumpkin Patch! Oh! And that apple orchard looks like a fun place too. And yes! Sorraya! Slow down! You are growing up way to quickly!
ReplyDeleteHave 2 sick kiddos can't be fun! Hopefully you are all feeling better! What a great family picture at the end! Even if Sorraya isn't looking, it is so cute! I just love Fall! And how awesome that you actually get to see all the seasons! Also, I'm glad you got a new baby gate! That must have been so scary!

ReplyDeletePoor thing falling down the stairs! :( Blake did the same thing when he was little. We got a gate very quickly after that as well!
