Quick and Easy Corn on the Cob

Some of you may have seen this trick floating around the internet.
I took it upon myself to try it out to see if it really was that easy to do!
This is quick and easy when you are just doing a few corn on the cobs. Sometimes it is easier to grill a whole bunch of them, or boil a big pot of water.
But if you just need to do a few, this is the way to go.

Do not shuck the corn. Keep it just as it is from when you bought it at the store.
 Place it in the microwave.
Cook on high for 4 minutes.
Once done, carefully take the corn out, as it is very hot, and cut the end off.
Don't cut off the bare minimum, but cut off enough that the corn can come out.
Then turn the corn upside down and hold it by the top and shake!
Shake, shake shake up and down and the corn will start to slip out little by little.
After a few times shaking, the corn will just slip out of the husk.
(Thank you to my beautiful assistance Jenn)

It is cooked perfectly and is just as delicious!
It's fun, try for yourself!

  2. Ok, now I have to try it! I was googling quick corn on cob alternatives to boiling for Declan's bday party. Saw this! We had too much corn so it would've taken far too long. But excited to do this next time it's just us.
We really like grilling it too! Pull outer schucks down and remove silky hairs then pull back up. Soak in water and put on grill for twenty. Nice for when you are grilling meat too
