We went and saw the Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks play last week!
It was a gorgeous evening and such a nice time together.
It was also Ryken's first baseball game! And Sorraya's! :)
In June, Chris tried to get some tickets to go on my birthday, but it was an afternoon game, so that didn't work - but it worked out this time to go!
Since it was Ryken's first time, we let him have the whole experience and we ate dinner at the stadium as well.
A genuine ballpark frank! He loved it!
I got up to ask a lady to take a picture of our family and as I was doing that, a man came over and asked if this was Ryken's first game and then he gave him this baseball!
It was so unexpected and so very kind.
Ryken was thrilled!
And what a perfect addition to the family picture!
It was the man in the far right corner of the picture who gave Ryken the ball!
Ryken kept calling him the nice Tiger man, because he had a Tiger on his shirt.
He sat on Dad's lap and watched the game while holding his ball.
Right before 7th inning stretch, I took Ryken down to play in the big sand box that was there. Plus, Sorraya was getting a little fussy and was tired of sitting.
He loves sandboxes.
We left after the 7th inning stretch.
It was such a fun time and we hope to go to more in the future.
Ryken held his ball the whole way home and Dad put it by Ryken's bed before he went to sleep.
HOW FUN! It looks like a wonderful time! And such a nice Tiger man giving him a ball! So thoughtful! I love the family picture!!
