Today at church I snapped a few pictures of the newest projects completed at the church.
The stained glass window for the back of the church was put in on Wednesday!
A local man made it and put it in. He asked for prayer before he did so, because he said it was the hardest job he has ever done in all of his years. But there were no problems and it looks beautiful.
Here is a little explanation about the window that Pastor Doug wrote up:
The colors are organized by the three primary colors, then the secondary and tertiary colors around a piece of cut glass that Paul(who designed and made it) made by hand. The colors are arranged in the form of a builder's caliper. These calipers remind us that God, who spoke all things into existence, including light, is the wise master builder who constructed all things after the counsel of His own will.
Also, the baptistry tile is complete.
We are still awaiting the new pulpit and chairs as well as the communion table. And also there will be a water feature at the front close by the baptistry that will run and be a reminder of baptism when we do not have baptisms going on.

Looks awesome! How exciting to see it almost complete!
