Little miss Sorraya is 2 months old.
(and the bow is done)
But look at that little smile!
At her 2 month check up, she weighed 8 lbs 7 oz and was 20.5 inches long. (a week before she was actually 2 months)
This month Sorraya met Chris' side of the family, as they came for the day to see us all here. She is the first girl cousin to 5 boy cousins.
She started smiling. They are adorable and does the most on the changing table and in the bathtub! :) She will smile at other people other than mommy and daddy as well.
She has tears now! Not many, but her eyes get moist.
She went on her first road trip to Bismark/Mandan to see some family that came from Canada. She met her Great Grandma and Grandpa Brucks and Frank, Shelley, Jess and Jolen (not sure what they would be to her, but Frank and Shelley are our Aunt and Uncle and then Jess is their daughter and Jolen is her husband). Sorraya has her Great Grandma's chin. She is a great traveler. She slept the whole way. We stopped to fed her half way and then she slept again! It was such a pleasant little trip.
She likes to be held face to face. Meaning our right cheek up against her left cheek. And then if we bounce her, she loves it even more.
She flairs her nostrils before she poops! :)
She really has liked being on her play mat longer these days, which is nice!
She will fall asleep in the carrier when I wear her most times. It is a lifesaver when she can be extra cranky or on outings!
She has had some hard evenings this month. She tends to be extra fussy from 6ish-10ish. Not much would calm her down. We even tried driving around in the car. Nope. But she gradually improved toward the end of the month!
She is eating 2-3 hour stretches during the day, and at night she will go 4-5 hours, leaving me to only wake up once.
She spits up a lot after feedings and soaks herself. Poor thing, but she takes it like a champ! We do a whole lot more laundry for her with all the spit up!!
She is such a sweet little thing that is changing so fast and being loved all the more!
I just can't get enough of that cute little face. She is getting more and more personality as she grows. I want to be cheek to cheek with her too!
ReplyDeleteShe has the sweetest little face. AHHH I want to hold that sweet little girl!
ReplyDeleteADORABLE! She always looks so alert when she is awake like she doesn't wanna miss a SINGLE moment. I love that you have noticed she flares her nostrils before she poops! That could be helpful for potty training down the road ;)
