Our good friends, the Johnson's, drove from Valley City to join us for the parade and the Kidfest! It sure was nice to have some other with us this time!
So we drove to where the Parade was supposed to be, we got our strollers and wagons out and decorated them and then we started walking to the start of the parade and noticed there was hardly any traffic and we got such a good parking spot....turns out, they moved the parade (due to potential rain) and the kidfest to a place much closer to our house!
So we missed the parade...but we got a picture of us all ready for one anyways! :) haha!
Heather was very gracious to me for mixing that up!!
So we drove back and started off the Midwest Kidfest by getting a tour of an ambulance and a firetruck!! SUCH a treat to be able to go into both!
The boys loved being able to get up into the Firetruck!
Our boys were some of the last who got to go up into one.
Apparently the firemen decided they weren't going to let the kids in after a handful got to go!
So I was thankful we were some of the few that got to! It's not ever day!
Inside there were tons of activities for the kids to do and games to play to win prizes!
The kids making music!
Fishing!
Batman Ryken
Batman James
Princess Savannah!
Make a goal!!
Bean bag toss!!
With the bean bag toss, they won these cool new blue shades!!
They planted chives!!
Ryken got his first tattoo and was showing it to Raya!
Savannah is such a good big sister and does so well at holding her littlest brother Hunter!
Jump houses were downstairs!
Weeeeee!!
We got some pizza for lunch and watched other kids bounce!!
I love how he is eating the crust like a watermelon rind!
These boys are such good buds!
All of us!!!
It was such a fun time!!
We were all tired after that!
Once we got home, Rachel brought over Sonic for us for a birthday treat! So kind and thoughtful of her!

It is so sweet to have good friends for both you and the kiddos! Looked like a fun time was had by all!
