Day 2 Day Joys

Week of October 19
(after my parents left)

We went back to see the marching band on Friday afternoon because he (the band teacher) said it would be more of an exciting practice than it was on Wednesday. And plus, it was in the 70's...and it ended up being the last one too I think!
He was excited about finding pinecones!
October 24  makes 1 year of being at 6136!
We are so thankful for our house and love it more and more!
We had our 1 year walk thru and the man told us how much the houses (even our model) have gone up in price since we started building it over a year ago. We thanked God again for his perfect timing and provision for us through this house.
And we have grass!!!
Now I just need to work on getting that yucky rust stain off our driveway that happened during the building process.
We had some coins on the counter and Ryken found them and has been loving them.
He knows which ones are quarters, dimes and pennies.
He liked counting each group!
Bath time with lots of bubbles!
 Enough to make beard bubbles!
On Saturday, Chris was getting a haircut and we all went with him, except the kids and I walked around while he got his hairs cut! We found a bus stop and that was so exciting to Ryken!
Daddy got an invitation to ride on the train to before the weekend was over!

Celebrating the ordinary moments that make life extraordinary!

  2. WOW! One year already in your house! That has flown by! But I guess you did have Sorraya on the kitchen floor and she is getting dangerously close to 1 year old! :) And the grass looks so so good! I just want to lay in it and roll! :)

    1. We just moved the bookshelf over to the TV. It fills up the space nice and now we have a good spot for our Christmas tree!
