On day 6 of framing, our roof trusses were delivered around lunch time. Chris actually followed in the truck to our lot. And by the time they were done for the day all of the trusses were up.
We have the start of a roof.
It was very difficult to take pictures in the house because there is just wood everywhere and in the pictures all of the wood just blends together.
But our upstairs is framed and this is at the top of the stairs at the end of the hallway looking down to our bedrooms.
The nursery door is on the left of the corner.
The master bedroom is on the right.
It is really coming together nicely.
I took Kristin and Ember to see the new house today!
We met our neighbors right across the street from us.
The husband friendly said to me (with camera in hand) "You aren't taking pictures of your new house are you?"
I said "No, of course not!"
He said, "We aren't either!"
Of course we are, it's too exciting not too! :)
So fun to see your very own house in person! I can't wait to see it fully completed and come and stay in the guest room to see my great little buddy Ryken and the new baby!! After having so much fun with Ryken this trip, Ember will definitely want to come too!! :)
