Drayden: TEN Months

Drayden turned Ten months!

Oh this boy just keeps getting sweeter and more of a personality! He loves to interact with people. He is all smiles and laughs. He is such a ticklish guy. Such joy, he radiates! 

He loves to throw around wipes. He loves to climb on the end tables, the dishwasher, the stairs, the trampoline and cabinets. We have a gate at the bottom of our stairs so he doesn't climb up and there is a little ledge and he will climb up there and stand while hanging on to the gate. He is such a strong boy. He likes to climb in and out of the tunnel. He loves the bath and just eager waits to be put into the water to splash. Unfortunately, he likes to stand up too. He likes to play the piano at home or church. He loves to play with socks. He likes to hit the balls with his hands as he crawls and chase after them around the room. He likes to attack Chris' nose and glasses. He likes Ryken's sleep shirt. He likes pulling himself up on things and being in the midst of it all. He has this game with the stairs where he starts climbing them and then he looks back and waits for whoever is coming after him, then he squeals and quickly tries to get away. He likes to come and climb all over you, on and off your lap if you are sitting on the ground. 

He doesn't like getting his face wiped for too long, he doesn't like getting changed. 

He continues to improve on new foods he is eating. He still loves carrots and squash the best. His fine motor skills are improving as he picks things up and puts them in his mouth. He still nurses quite a bit, no feedings have been taken away.

Drayden still wakes up 2-4 times a night. He falls asleep occasionally without being nursed to sleep. He likes his blankets on him and the top of his head up against the bumpers. He sleeps on his stomach  the majority of the time. Hardly sleeps in the car...unless he is super, super tired. He only naps once a day - in the afternoon when the big kids do. He greets you with the biggest smiles when you come to get him in the morning or after a nap. 

Firsts:

First time standing up in is crib, first time to Mandan, first Christmas, and first time opening presents.

He weighs 20lbs  3oz.
