Day 2 Day Joys: Jan 8-14

Week of January 8

Three little superhero's!
We ran into Uncle Matt at Walmart!
Trying on some heels!
She wants to be a mommy!
Mr. Rudolph was in town for work and he came over for supper!
He was so kind to bring and let me barrow his DSLR camera, as he had upgraded and he knew I have been saving for one. So he let me barrow his and allI needed to do was buy a lens. This lens will be interchangeable with the camera body I hope to purchase in the future! I am so excited and we so appreciate the very thoughtful and generous offer!
The kids also recruited him to make a rocket!
Blastoff!!
Drayden is in this stage were he just crawls around the house with his tongue sticking out! It's pretty cute...but like most stages they are short, so I made sure to capture that little tongue.
Checking out the fresh snow!
Raya loves to help feed him his puffs. Although, we keep telling her he needs to learn to pick them up and put them in his mouth on his own!
But she sure can make him smile!
She makes me smile!!
Our Raya is a very thankful little girl. She is usually pretty good at just thanking for a meal or getting something for her when she is in need. We started Thanksgiving journals earlier in the year and do them year round. She often brings it to us and askes us to write in them. We love what she has come up with. Often there are repeats, but other times, there are new and good things.
She likes to pretend that she can write in it too!
He is learning to wash and dry himself and enjoying the independence.
Playing with play dough!
We watched little Cana for a bit this week!
In their matching jersey's playing on the iPad together!
Tuesday was the start of a lot of sickness for the kids. Ryken got a bad cough Tuesday and then Drayden came down with a bad cough on Thursday night...which ended up being croup! :(
It was so sad. He was miserable and just wanted to be laying, sleeping or sitting with you!
So lots of extra time at home and Ryken was feeling better now and was enjoying the Micro Machines!
This was his favorite piece today!
New toothbrushes make brushing teeth so much more fun! They get so silly!
Our little Monkeys!!

Celebrating the ordinary moments that make life extraordinary!!
