Week of January 15
Monday night Chris deceived we better take Drayden in for some help. This was day 4 of fever and he was deep into croup and we weren't seeing any improvement. So at 10:45pm I asked my sweet friend Amy to come over to be with the other kids so Chris and I could take Drayden in. She was there as soon as she could.
We got in right away and they gave Drayden a breathing treatment that helped immediately to calm his wheezing. He was also given a oral steroid for longer term help.
And they also wanted to do an x-ray as when the Dr listened to Drayden breath he wasn't sure pneumonia was ruled out. So he got to sit on that little white box "his throne" as the technician called it and I was behind the big box holding up his arms so they could get a picture. He did great! He did have a little bit of pneumonia, so he was given antibiotics to start and take for a week.
We were thankful to get the help for the poor guy! He was a trooper...but the hospital visit was all to familiar to just 8 months prior. Thankfully, we were only there 2 hours and he slept great the rest of the night!
Ryken was sweet and wanted to cuddle with him!
Playing the underpants game again...this time Raya was putting her dirty underwear in the washer with her feet! Silly girl!
Clean Raya with pruney toes!
We had a foggy morning and once the sun came out- white trees everywhere. So pretty!
A custom order for the neighbor next door. It was a big project...but a fun project. This measures 24x36. It was not perfect, but she loved that about it!
A picture of it in her house!
At Drayden's follow up appointment...waiting by the fire!
Saturday, another lady and I put on a Ladies Mug and Muffin event at the church. It was a great success and even more wonderful time. More in another post!
I also took pictures for my good friend of her little girl who turned one.
We hung out in the Teen room at the Library for 2 hours taking pictures or just chatting. The kids had a blast on the chairs. We weren't kicked out...so I guess we never got THAT loud! :/
Afterwards, they wanted us to go to supper with them to Wendy's and we accepted! We ended the night with Frosty's! YUM!
Celebrating the ordinary moments that make life extraordinary!!
