Week of December 28
Ryken wearing his new tie from the Evans!! He loves it!
They loved playing on the pillows! Sorraya loves to bury her face into the pillow. She also just likes to lay her head on it!

Ryken had a blast with the remote control car!
Ryken got the stomach flu this week! :( Poor guy! As we were holding the bucket for him to throw up in, he was saying "I don't care for that" as he was trying to push it away. Sweet boy! Thankfully after the first time throwing up, he knew what it felt like, so he would tell us that spit up was coming. SO helpful! He had it one day, felt better the next day and I think we over did it and then the next day he was throwing up again! One night we got take out pizza for supper, but it was a day that Ryken had still been throwing up so we didn't want him to have any pizza in fear he would throw it back up. Poor guy, he was just bawling that he couldn't have any pizza! It was heartbreaking! It took a while before his appetite got back to normal! It was a long week...with lots of extra loads of laundry! :)
New Years Eve we had a fellowship time at church.
Potato bar for supper and then games afterwards!

Ryken was the first one to get Bingo and got a prize for it!
Sorraya trying on Chris' ear muffs! It was hilarious to watch her. The muffs would push on her chubby cheeks and then she would smile!! I couldn't get a good picture cause she kept moving, but I had tears from laughing so hard!
We went to a pet store to get a "baby" gate for the bottom of our stairs so Sorraya can't climb up them anymore! We stopped to see the fish.
Raya liked watching the little white mice run around like crazy!

awwww poor Ryken! :( That is so sad!! Especially about the pizza too! This year has been rough with sickness it seems for your family too! I hope everyone is currently healthy for you! We just hit our first sunny, healthy day yesterday since Dec. 4th! It is a breath of fresh air for sure to have kids who aren't sick! Sorraya is getting so big... I can't believe she will be one so soon! Loved the ear muffs... I could only imagine! :)
