Today I am thankful for:

Art on the wall

Awhile ago we went to an art show downtown to meet and see a local artist that we like. She asked her if we could buy a print of hers, and she and Chris exchanged emails, but she never really helped us in that way. She clearly isn't painting for the money! :) 

We hadn't heard back from her in a while and then out of the blue Chris gets an e-mail from her and she gave us the rights to a print of the original canvas that she painted -FREE!

So we ordered this big canvas that had her high resolution print printed on!

We are so happy with how it turned out! It adds so much color to the room! 

This is a painting of a local train yard here in Fargo too! :)

 And guess who else loves having a big train picture in the dining room?!?! :)

As a thank you to Leila for the print, we plan to take a family picture in front of the canvas and send it to her! :)

We are slowly, getting art on the walls, and figuring out where we want things, but this is really the first piece hung on the wall...and we couldn't be more happy!
