Out With the Old, In With the New

On Thursday, February 13th, the employee's at Treasure Island surprised Chris with a going away cheesecake.
Friday, the 14th, was Chris' last day at Treasure Island.

Monday, February 17th, Chris started his new job.
It is at Reile's Transfer.
It is a wear house and trucking business for sugar mainly right now, but has a few other things as well. It is expanding with a new location opening in Grand Fork this summer.
He is dealing with the finances and some business stuff.
He gets to help create more efficent ways of how the current system works.
He got the firehose treatment the first day, so many new things to know and learn...but he is such a smart guy he will have it figured out in no time.
Chris no longer can come home for lunch each day, as the new job site is much further away.
So I get to make lunches for Chris now! Which I am enjoying! :)

God just dropped this job into Chris' lap. He wanted a new one, but there wasn't much out there.
A consultant who worked at Treasure Island for a year or so brought this job to Chris' attention. It actually was a new position created.
This job was perfectly picked for Chris in ways of what Chris enjoys doing and in line with his strengths and talents.
We are so thankful for it, as it seems to be the best for many areas for our family!!!
