Marks 2 years of being married to my best friend.

Here is a timeline of our love story.

May 2009 - We Met in Prescott, AZ
January 2010 - We started Dating
September 2010 - We got Engaged
May 2011 - We got Married
July 2011 - Found out we were expecting our first child
March 2012 - Ryken was born
May 2013 - We signed the contract for our new house
May 2013 - Been Married for 2 years!!!!!!!

We celebrated on Saturday night.
We took Ryken over to the Rudolph's who graciously offered to watch him for a few hours.

We stopped and got a picture of the two of us.
 Came home and grilled fajitas.
YUM!
We used the crystal glasses that Christy had given Chris a while ago.
We drank the last bottle of wine from our wedding.
After dinner, we watched our amazing wedding video.
(We said our vows to each other on our actual anniversary!!)
We went through the memories and blessings that God has blessed us with over the last two years together.
After we picked up Ryken, we stopped and got a sweet treat!
Yummy!

It was a wonderful time of celebrating!!

On Monday, our actual anniversary, we started over on our Bible reading plan that is for a year, and we chose to start it over on our anniversary, because that is when we became a family.
Well the first Old Testament reading was Genesis 1-2.
It just added to the beauty of the meaning of the day, that we read about the creation of man and women.

Genesis 2:18
"The the Lord God said, 'It is not good that the man should be along; I will make him a helper fit for him.'"
Genesis 2:23-24
"Then the man said, 'This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Women, because she was take out of Man.' There fore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh."

We are thankful for how God has grown us as individuals, and together, as well as how He has used us  in the past 2 years.
We are sure thankful God was in control of us meeting, falling in love and becoming one.

Life as the wife of Chris Brucks is half as hard and twice as good!
I love being his Mrs. and having him as my Mr.!!!
