Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful for:

The Frazey Family

They received their referral for a 2 month old baby girl right before the first of the year, December 28!

They couldn't be happier!

Both Brent and Allison had the desire to adopt and they did something about it!

They didn't just say, "we would like to one day"...instead they made progress on the paperwork to adopt within weeks or months.

They didn't make money an issue. They knew they didn't have it all, but they had faith in a God who provides. The Lord blessed their faith and has granted them with many generous givers, and He continues to do so.

They didn't just adopt because they could not have kids of their own, but they wanted to adopted with already having one daughter and knowing that Allison could be pregnant once the adoption process was complete, or that they would have two babies (one biological and one adopted) very close in age. That didn't matter either, they started the process anyways.

What a beautiful desire the Lord has put on your hearts, and what a joy it is to see the adoption process unfold in a way that could only be from the hands of God!

There has been many answers to prayer and I will just share one. The agency they are going through asked them to raise their age bracket from 0-9 months to 0-14 months. They had wanted to adopt a child that was very young, but they prayer about it and went ahead and did as the agency asked and raised the age bracket. With that being said, the Lord still chose to give them what He sought best, which was a 2 month old baby girl, and it also was still their hearts desire.

"Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart." -Psalm 37:4
