Thankful Thursday

I am thankful today that I get to see my dear friend Mary tomorrow. 

We met at the first BTC in 2008 in Prescott, AZ and became friends quite fast! We have been to Lakeshore 2009 together, and seen each other at BTC 2009 and also the Frazey Michigan wedding reception in 2009. And since then we have text, talked, wrote letters, wrote e-mails....AND 3 years later, we get to see each other again!

Mary is no doubt a sister in Christ. 

She is beautiful inside and out.

Christ is seen through her words and actions.

 She shows so much love for others and for the Lord. She has such a heart for the lost and for doing what honors the Lord.

 After BTC one year, a group of us went camping at the Grand Canyon together and saw God's creation.

Mary always points you back to the Lord. Wether through encouraging words, Bible verses, or some other way. The conversation points to God.

 Mary truly has the word of God hidden in her heart and lives it out.

She is an example, encourager and I am blessed to call her my friend and have her in my life.

This is the last time we have seen each other.

October 2009

A lot has changed since then:

-Ally got engaged

-Mary got engaged

-Ally Graduated from College

-Ally got Married to Chris (5-20-2011)

-Mary got Married to Caleb (5-21-2011)

-Ally moved to North Dakota

-Ally and Chris became Parents to Ryken

-Mary and Caleb moved to Michigan

I am thankful for how we met, for how we grew closer, for how we have stayed in contact, for our unity in the Body of Christ...

...And for how the Lord is allowing us to see each other again!
