7 Months Old

Our baby is 7 months old today!

Ryken is pretty happy about it!

 He is getting longer too!

He grew a whole inch from last month!

Ryken is 16.5 lbs and over 25 inches now. He is such a silly goose. He is enjoying all the new flavors he is tasting. He tried carrots and peas this month so far. Likes them both, after a few times. He likes to chew on apples and bananas in his net feeder. Baths are still fun. He doesn't pee in them anymore! :) He loves to splash. Ryken sleeps pretty good. Naps are on and off with how short and how long. Still up some. Ryken is crawling very well now. He gets around so good and is exploring and has found many new and exciting things. He likes shoes, he likes door stoppers, likes the fan base, likes looking out the window. Likes his diaper bag and Dad's backpack. He likes crawling under the kitchen table. He likes to come find you in another room. He loves hanging out in the kitchen with mom. He loves with Dad plays with him. All giggles and smiles. He likes to climb up on peoples laps. He likes to climb up on his blue bowl and bouncer seat. He wears his beanie with no problem. Does't seem to be bothered by his jacket. I can't seem to keep socks on him. Still likes interacting with people. He is starting to get more unsure of people though too. He loves to smiles, tilt his head, talk, tense all muscles and scream. He has two bottom teeth coming through. They are very sharpe. He is sitting up better and better each month and can now go from sitting to crawling with no problems. Not the other way yet, I don't think. Still loves to stand and bounce. He likes to play "Where's the baby?" and "I'm gonna get'cha". Loves to chew on a wet washcloth - and throw it around! Ryken is climbing up on everything and into a stand: in his crib, couch, step stool, cabinets, doors, fridge... He became a big cousin to Ember Renee Evans. He met her over skype. Took his first bath in the tub sitting up and loved it. Splashed with all his might. He can say "Mama" too!
