Week of November 19
Sweet sleeping pictuers!
Real life crumbs! Playdough crumbs!
I made a new sign for our front porch that is reversible.
One for Christmas and one for Thanksgiving!
We had a Thanksgiving Eve service at church with pies afterwards. At the tables there was room to write what people were thankful for. I should have taken some after pictures as well!
This year for Thanksgiving, we had 5 people over from our church family and Chris did an amazing job with the meat. We don't usually do traditional Thanksgiving meal, and this year we did a New York Strip Top loin and it was delicious! We talk Chris' parents about it and will be brining and making one for that side of the family for Christmas Eve!
The kids making welcome signs for the front door.
I was coming down from the stairs and just caught myself thinking as I was overlooking our home, smelling the food, having Chris home and seeing our three kiddos....how extremely grateful I am for all we have and have been given so undeservedly.
Finished product!
The Chen's!
They brought two Chinese dishes to share with everyone as well! It was a special treat!
Our friend Matt came, as well as his mom.
The kids wanted a picture with Matt!
Happy Thanksgiving from the Brucks!
Let the clean up begin! :)
Friday, we had our family pictures done for our Christmas cards. I had done the kids ones earlier in the month, but we hadn't gotten our family one yet. So my sweet friend, Amy, offered to come and stand behind the camera and take them for us! So grateful for the outcome!
The kids have asked many times if they can use the pull out bed and today they did.
The enjoyed watching a show while sitting on the bed.
It soon became a play area for them!
Christmas tree shopping!
Found one!! Ryken actually picked this one out. Great find!
Also, there was a fire alarm test about to happen, which is why Ryken has his hands over his ears!
Got to decorating in the same day even!
Raya wanted to do the star so bad, but then it was getting a little to high for her liking, so Dad ended up doing it this year!
Three helpers this year!
The grand reveal!
Celebrating the ordinary moments that make life extraordinary!!
