Week of April 17
Sleeping sweetly!
Feeding him a little meal! Love how he is looking up at me! :)
Big boy!
Tuesday at Exhale, we made baskets for new mom's! It was fun to see how they came together, what people thought of and helping out those new (most likely single) mama's!
Smiling at his mobile!
One of the nurses said he needed a toy or something to look at, so she asked and this brand new mobile arrived. She said, if you ask the right people - you get the good things!!
Drayden has loved it! We will catch him following it with his eyes! It was a nice destraction from his poor, hungry little belly!
Grandma took the kids to have lunch and play in the playground at Burger King! They were so excited and wanted to show off their new crowns!
We got to have a tour of a fire station with my mom's group this week! What a fun experience to see inside and hear about what goes on and how things work.
We had a scary raccoon in our house this week!!
We also had a skunk and he was turn his little bum toward us and "spray" us. haha! He love animals and is very interested in them and loves learning about them.
Grandma surprised Raya when she thought she was just getting a picture! :)
A friend was kind enough to ask her friends to bring back some sand and then she passed it along to me!
Love when I am surprised by them and don't have to ask! What kind, thoughtful friends, I have!
Big deal here...Drayden had his first blowout diaper!! Big occasion!
Just minutes before going home!!!!
And due to his blow-out, I didn't have another clean pair of clothes - so he is wearing girl jammies from the hospital! :)
On our way out and hopefully for good!!! :)
He has been alive for just over 50 days and only 6 of them has he been home!
We were so ready to be done and so grateful for all God has done and continues to do and all the prayers that people have offered up to God that He so graciously answered on behalf of Drayden and our family!
Trying it out once more!
The kids are in love!
We walked to the park in the afternoon and met our friends!! Too nice not too!
She sure loves to swing!
Snoozing away!
She fell off the swing and then we swung together and all was better!
Ryken's little buddy, pulling him in the wagon!!
Chalk!
He asked me to draw a fish and we drew one togehter, step by step. It was fun to see him following each step and creating his own fish. His is the little blue one!
Digging in the dirt!
And when I saw, dirt - it is one hole that they play in. We are eventually going to make under the stairs a sand box for them! :)
Grandma got to play with the Micro Machines!
Raya was reading Drayden a book! Too sweet!
We have been having Vole trouble in our yard, so we have had a trap out for a few days, but nothing...then Chris thought maybe there was a next under our ramp that goes up into our shed under our deck...sure enough. 4 little baby voles!
Chris was brillant to put the babies in the trap and then we eventually got the mamma!
Showing the kids!
Celebrating the ordinary moments that make life extraordinary!!
