Week of January 3
Sunday Best!!
A family from church bought back some sand for our collection! :) YAY!
We eat a lot of dried apricots at our house...and Chris called them little boy ears one day and now Ryken asks to eat some little boy ears! It's so funny to hear!!
Ryken asks for a popsicle often...and we have had some in the freezer for a while, but when he asks lately, it has been either too cold to eat them outside or snow on the ground! So, I thought, why not in the tub! They loved it. I didn't have to care about a mess! It was win, win!
Tuesday, we had our first Exhale meeting of the new year and we made tie blankets for Project Ignite. It is the perfect day for this, since we all want to catch up after a month of being apart!
She was putting the rings on Dad's eyes, until she found his nose!! :)
Adding Cherrieo's to their book...and then eating them!
We knew ahead of time that Dad was going to have a late night at work- so we brought him supper and ate together! :)
Minion hat!
We got a lot of snow this week! It's always so pretty!
Coloring away!
The new baby hit a fun milestone this week - 30 weeks!!! YAY!!
On the left is a picture of me pregnant at 30 weeks with Ryken and the picture on the right is me pregnant at 30 weeks with baby #3!
It's fun to see the big difference 2 pregnancies make!
I just love the kids in their snow bibs! They looks so cute in the little overalls!
Lots of fluffy snow-- lots of fun!
Sorraya spend the majority of the time eating the snow while I pulled her around on the sled!
Licking her lips!
This kid loves snow angels! :) I love the big smiles he expresses each time!
I was worn out pulling her around, stomping through the snow!
He loves jumping into the snow!!
They loved playing - Ryken didn't want to go in!
Raya needed a break to sit with mom - I was more than ok with that! :)
Then after supper, Ryken bundled up again and helped Dad shovel the driveway!
Mom and Raya sat in the back of the van and watched! hahah!
It's great, with mittens on, Ryken couldn't really hold on the shovel as well as he would like, so each time he dropped it, it would dig like a dog to get to the handle. It made us laugh every time!!
Watching a movie with my love! :)
Saturday, there was our 4th (I think)annual Women's soup, sing and cookie exchange!
We are exited for the upcoming year of opportunities for the ladies to serve and learn together!
Since it was January, not to many people wanted to do the cookie exchange - but because some asked to do it - we did it and went with who would participate! :)
We had special music this time instead of us singing carols!
These sisters are so multi-musically talented!
It was a treat!
Then they all sang a few songs, harmonizing and doing rounds and all that fun stuff!
We were all blessed their gifts and talents!
After bath snuggles with this little smiley lady!
The bath did the trick- cause she wasn't smiling prior!!
Celebrating the ordinary moments that make life extraordinary!!

The soup, cookie exchange, and singing night always sounds so fun! And a nice night out for mommies of youngins! I love all the snow pictures! So cute! And Ember loves making her snow angels too. Lots of fun!
