Today we went to the Moorhead Public Library and enjoyed Storyland.
As you can see, the three stories were:
The Tale of Peter Rabbit
The Snowy Day
Where's Spot?
First Stop: The Tale of Peter Rabbit
There was a little house made from a tree stump.
A little maze, story telling activity.
And the favorite… the garden.
He kept throwing the potatoes, onions and cabbage. He was calling them balls! :)
And when he wasn't throwing them, he was "eating" them! (like every other child that comes past them.. :/)
Picking carrots!
Next: The Snowy Day
Here was a play house and bedroom from the book.
The buttons Ryken is pushing said certain audio clips.
This was a hit as well.
It was a snowy path with footsteps. And when you passed a certain part of the trail, it would make sound effects like the snow was crunching.
Fake icicles and jingle bells were there to play with.
There was also a magnetic board with words.
And a place to build a snowman! So cute right?!?! :)
He didn't really care for this as much as I thought he would. He took apart the snowmen.
Lastly: Where's Spot?
There was a stuffed Spot and his bench.
This was the backside of it. Little doors that opened up. One had a mirror, one had fur, one had a piano that actually played and lastly, a flower that lite up.
This little station had three stools and the same thing in front of them…but Ryken asked to sit on each one! Silly boy!
After we had a great time…we went down to the basement and found Linda, who told us about coming in the first place.
She was showing Ryken all the puppets that they get in and divide out to other Librarians in the area for story time.

This is so cool! We have the where's spot book:)
