This boy sure loves to be involved with what is going on in the kitchen!
Monday night, Daddy had a meeting and he had mentioned earlier that he wanted some chewy brownies. So we surprised him when he got home with a house smelling like brownies and fresh, warm, chewy brownies!
He's quick to find out that the batter usually tastes good.
Since there was raw eggs in the mix, I let him lick the spoon just long enough to get a picture!
He didn't care for the spoon being taken away.
But he was pleased with the finished product when he got some later!

And then with ice cream too!
So simple and one of Chris most favorite sweet treats!
Then when Chris' side of the family came last weekend, they brought along some of their yummy Chocolate Pumpkin muffins. They were so yummy, I remembered that I had the recipe…so Ryken helped me make some!
He was "pouring" in all the ingredients. He knows exactly what to do! It's so fun to see him catch onto things.

I can't wait to bake something with you Ryken. It makes me laugh to think about your sweet face with chocolate, flour or pumpkin on it. And making something yummy to eat too.
