Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful for,

 the blessing of encouraging someone and being encouraged myself. 

In other words:

Iron sharpening Iron

"Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another."

Proverbs 27:17

God, in His goodness, has given us a select few close friends who we can have that "iron sharpening iron" kind of relationship with. 

Wether they be close by or far away, God has given us a tremendous blessing in those friends.

I know for me, it can be as simple as you receive something from a friend and you are encouraged by it and then that makes you want to send it off to someone else to be blessed by it as well.

And isn't God good in that we don't receive those things ironically, but the Spirit of God is working and has placed that person on our hearts and minds for you to send it to.

So often it ends up being an encouragement to the giver and the receiver.
