Avonlea: NINE months

Avonlea girl is 9 months!!

July 30, 2019
Avonlea weighs __ lbs and is __ inches long. She is in size 3 diapers, wears 6-9 months clothes. She has 2 teeth, and she is scoot-crawling and sitting up great.

Oh sweet Avonlea! She is a joy! She is fun! She is a goof! She is our baby girl! She makes us laugh on a daily basis. She loves to bounce when she hears the music, she smiles and laughs at the kids. She loves a good game of peek-a-boo. She likes to chew on all thing around her. She loves to eat grass. She loves when her brothers and sister play with her. She loves her daddy so much. She loves to play with her tongue. She loves to suck her thumb. She loves to move her legs and wiggle around. She rarely holds still, yet she will sit in your lap quite nice. She continues to love baths, and now takes them with Raya. She loves walks in the stroller and the wind in her face. She loves watching people. She enjoys being outside on a blanket. She likes the swing at the park. She likes the vacuum.
She loves sitting up in the cart. She loves moving around and finding all the new things she couldn't get before around the house.

She continues to be a good sleeper. We are so thankful. She gets up once or none at all during the night. She goes to bed around 9pm and wakes up anywhere from 7:30-9am. She will nap around 11-11:30am and then again around 4-4:30. She will sleep an hour to 2 hours. She sleeps on her belly and sucks her thumb at first and then sleeps with her hands under her belly. So cute. We love waking her up as she is so happy to see any and everyone and just moves her whole body with excitement.

Eating continues to change, but over all she is a good eater and growing just fine. She was on a solid strike for a little while and wouldn't eat the purred food. She was doing just fine with formula and puffs and yogurt drops. We tried giving her the frozen milk that we had hopped to continue to use, but it seemed like it was hurting her tummy and it smelled bad. So we decided just to do formula. Bummer, but at least she got it for 8 months of her life. She drinks bottles when she wakes up, before each nap and before bed. She will drink 6-8oz. She doesn't eat that much or that often. She can go a long time in-between meals and not get fussy.

She has been such a good baby and we are so thankful for how she has turned around to be this calm, happy baby. She is a delight to be around and so lovable and kissable.
