Week of February 21
Sunday Best!!
We left half way through- because Ryken was telling us of symptoms that he was not feeling well! Little did we know- it was going to be a long rough week of ALL of us getting sick! :( Again! 3rd week/weekend in the month of February!
Had to take Dad's dress pants to get re-hemed in the mall, and so we stopped by to see the animals in the pet store!
All three car seats are in the van - ready for the littlest one to join our drives around town!!
Getting so close and seeming so real we will be a family of FIVE so soon!!
Put out some of the cutest, sweetest little newborn diapers this week!
They always make me ohhhh and ahhhh!!
Lots of snuggles this week do to fevers, coughs and snot galore!!
Raya watching Ryken play on the iPad...in Jammies! We didn't change out of jammies much this week!
Hit 37 weeks this week!! What a milestone!!
I did feel the need to buy Swiss Card(the vegetable for the size of the baby pictures), since I felt like we would waste it! So this was good enough to document the milestone...
...a comparison at 37 weeks during each pregnancy!
Since the seats are moved and the older two are closer together...they were able to hold hands better! I love looking back and seeing that they do this all on their own!
Ryken has been a big help for Raya too in the car!
This poor girl had a rough week! Fever for days, cough that was heavy and painful, and snot on top of it! :(
And what was more sad is that mommy was so uncomfortable due to the pregnancy Sorraya couldn't sit with mommy as much as she wanted! Chris suggested laying (he's so smart, why didn't I think of that) and that was helpful and she actually laid!
Sorraya was given this little purse on her 1st birthday and we kept it to give to her later...and we thought this week would be good since she was feeling so poor...and it did seem to cheer her up. It hasn't left her hand much! :)
As all four of us were sick all week...we were reminded of the good health that we usually have by God's grace and what a blessing and gift that is. We also were aware how we take it for granted. So even in the bad - a terribly miserable week - God used it to open our eyes and cause us to be more thankful!!
Celebrating the ordinary moments that make life extraordinary!!
Way to find the positive in a hard week. Being sick yourself is hard enough but then to have to take care of sick and needy children while sick definitely takes some effort! Love the 3 car seats in a row and the big kiddos holding hands. Little did you know just how soon your sweet little baby would be coming!
