We stayed home this year for Thanksgiving and were excited to be able to open our home again for a feast and fellowship!!
Sweet snuggles with daddy waiting for our guests to come!!
Appetizers!!
Watching the yorkshire pudding bake! It was neat how it popped up!
The feast!!
Prime rib, stuffing, squash casserole, yorkshire pudding, orange jello salad and au jus dipping sauce.
Our guests!!
Raya helped me clean off the spatula after spreading the cream on dessert!
We sang some Psalms of Thanksgiving with everyone!
We had a wonderful time with some of our church family joining us in celebrating this day of Thanks! It was such a blessed time!
Thanksgiving family photo!!
Raya was shoving this calculator into Chris' mouth thinking it was the most funny thing. Chris was a good sport!
One of the ladies who came has cats, and she asked if she could take the prime rib scraps home for her cats. So she later sent us a picture of RC feasting on the meat! :)

"Whatever is the matter of our joy should be the matter of our praise. What makes us cheerful should make us thankful. Serve the Lord with gladness." -Matthew Henry

This is so awesome. Love the thankful tree! A great idea I will put in my back pocket for next year. I wanted to do something like that this year with Jace but never got a round to it! Love it!
ReplyDeleteWow! What a yummy yummy feast that looks like! And so cool that you guys host others from your family. And I agree with Steph. I LOVE the thankful tree idea and need to do something like that as well next year!
