Week of November 1
Sunday Best!!
This little girl was smashing her face up against the window and making Sorraya laugh and giggle!
There was this cool remote control rolling thing that some bigger kids were playing with...and the little ones enjoyed chasing after it! :)
We came home from the grocery store on Monday and saw that they were in the middle of fixing the big dips in the road down our street! Ryken pulled out his chair and was waiting to watch them...but they were waiting for more asphalt -so we come to find out.
So after a long time of waiting...Ryken finally got to see them put the asphalt down and have the big machine go over it and then the roller/steamer completed it! What a treat to be able to see!
Exhale this week was a Fall Festival. It was about Hair and Fashion!
One lady showed us some hairstyling tips for busy moms!
And the other ladies gave us some fashion tips!
Ryken asked for a picture outside of Target!
And then Raya wanted to sit up on the big red ball for a picture!
Snuggles with daddy!!
This week at one of the thrift stores it was 50% off certain items!
This lawn mower happened to be one of them! His cousin Matthew has kid mowers and Ryken has been asking for one since. I told him all summer long while at garage sales and at thrift stores that if I saw one that was $5 or less we could get it! We saw a few but none were at my price. But today, it was with the sale! And what a great find it was. It sure made his day!
He even tried it out in the parking lot before we left the store! :)
Daddy already winterized our lawnmower...so he will have to wait to follow daddy until the spring!
My sister told me about this free preschool curriculum called God's Little Explorers that she started doing with her daughter. I looked it up and it looked like a great time of learning and fun!
It goes through the Alphabet, but more importantly Explores God's word!
Here is Ryken's treasure map that will be used through the whole curriculum! :)
Raya slept long for nap, so Ryken and I were able to play a game of memory!
It was fun! He does really good at remembering where the pieces!
He won! :) Go Ryken!
Play date with some of the ladies and their kids that live in the neighborhood!
All the kids lined up to hear a story!
Play dough fun!!
All us mom's happen to be pregnant too!
(Right to Left)
34 weeks, 30 weeks and 21 weeks!
We are hoping to take pictures together once each of us has a baby!! I have always thought that would be so fun - but never had people close enough (in location) to do it with! :)
Playing tic-tac-toe!! It was pretty funny watching this go down!
Raya put her X's in the same spot everytime! And if Ryken put a rock on one of "her" spots, she moved it and put her X! haha!
While daddy was at a meeting at church Saturday morning, we made acorn treats! :)
They both loved helping!
And licking the chocolate frosting off their fingers!!
Chris was able to feel the baby kick this weekend!! Love seeing his reactions when he feels the kicks! Baby showed off and gave some of its biggest kicks too! :)
Chris had a good idea to go to the Pet store that night!!
It was a hit!
The fish here were much more exciting, colorful and lively than the ones we see at Walmart each week! haha!
This snake was using the gage box to climb the cage!
Watching one crazy mouse run around like nuts!
The kids got some good laughs!
And those colorful birds need some attention as well!
