It was so special to be able to spend the night and see the Evans (my sister's) home. I have not been to Flagstaff for 7 years or so, so it was nice to be back. It is such a beautiful place.
Cousins saw each other first thing in the morning and they prayed and ate breakfast together.
A morning game of Candy Land. Some were more sleepy than others! ;)
Kids and I went on a short walk amongst the forest!
We swung by Dustin's (my brother in law) gym that he part owns. So exciting to see it in person and praising God for all the success it has had. They opened their 2nd location early this year!
We got lunch and on our way to Mesa. The kids were so tired. Raya could hardly eat her lunch without falling asleep. They slept most the way down.
Grandma and Grandpa were THRILLED to have us at their house.
Grandma brushing Raya's hair!
Wind chimes!
He enjoyed the puppy bed...too much!
Smiles with Grandma!

We went to a Peach Farm!
What's neat is when my sister and I were little, we went to a farm and picked peaches and it may have been the same one! So it was kinda a neat time being back there and having our kids with us!
Had to sample each one!
The Evans Family!
Lots of fun memories and WAY to many peaches! :)
Aunt Kristin brought down their water table for the kids...so much fun!
Grandpa turned the sprinklers on several times! They loved it!
Today was our 6th Anniversary! We were able to go out to celebrate that day! We went to Vito's, where we had our rehearsal dinner for our wedding. So it's special to us! My parents gave us a gift card to there as well for our anniversary gift! Thanks mom and dad for the GC and thanks for watching the kids for us while we went out! It was very nice!
After supper, we went to walk around one of my favorite parks that happened to have been remodeled completely since I was there last. It's a really neat spot still.
We enjoyed our time together and praise God for the 6 years He has given us!

Getting ready for church...doing the girls hair!
Family picture!
More water fun!
Aunt Kristin also brought a slip n slide for the kids to enjoy! They loved it!
Especially Ryken!
These boys are just 6 months apart and had fun together!
It was Great-Grandpa's birthday while we were there.
He came over and we celebrated!
He had plenty to watch with all the kids running around!
But they did sit long enough for a nice picture with him.
Monday, May 22
We went to Canyon Lake for a swim!
Enjoyed a picnic lunch also!
Tuesday, May 23
Enjoying a show together!
Grandma gave bubbles to the bid kids and they sure enjoyed them!
Beautiful flowers in the backyard!
We make a stepping stone for each grandchild and it was Drayden's and Reece's turn this trip!
This is one of my favorite mountains in Mesa, so Chris drove me around until we found the perfect spot to get a good picture of it!
Wednesday, May 24
Had a pool day with a friend and her kids! Such a nice time together!
My kids were not to into being in the pool, but they had fun nonetheless!
Lunch with new friends!
Reece's turn making his stone!
Thursday, May 25
This guy loves brooms! This turned out to be a great picture to capture his little phase!
Our little family went to In N Out and brought it to a park that I used to play at when I was little with my best friends! Kinda fun telling the kids stories!
Before we left, we had to do some photoshoots of everyone together!
Grandpa and Grandma with all the kids!
Sisters with the kids!
Mom was on the ground getting pictures of their feet and they came on top of me later!
Precious feet!
So thankful we had time together at a coffee shop. Our morning with all 11 kids playing together didn't work out due to sickness, but we did get to catch up and it was so lovely!
Friday, May 26
We left Friday morning before 10am to head our way back to Fargo.
This was the first church we went to as a married couple on our Honeymoon, so since we were in the area, I asked if we could stop and take a picture there. It is in one of the worst parts of town, but it was such a sweet memory getting to worship as newly husband and wife together there with a hand few of other people.
Saturday, May 27
We woke up to hot air balloons in the sky! So cool. Wished we were closer and saw more! Sometime!
Made it to beautiful Colorado!
We didn't have much time to spend there, but we went to this Nature center and saw some pretty sights before it started raining!
Found a nest on our walk!
Sunday, May 28
We packed up and drove 40 minutes to Canon City, CO and enjoy worship at Grace Family Church and had sweet fellowship with the brothers and sisters there. We had a 9 hour drive ahead of us, and we didn't get left very soon after church because we had such a great time chatting with the pastor and his wife and their kids.
We made it to our hotel on Council Bluffs, Iowa (right next to Omaha) at 2:30 in the morning. The kids did surprisingly well sleeping in the car and then went to sleep fairly easy once we got settled in the hotel.
Monday, May 29
After our continental breakfast, which the kids loved, we were on our last leg of the trip and almost home.
We made it home around 4:30pm and my sweet friend who was watching our house had stocked out fridge for us, baked us banana bread and left us flowers! It was such a warm welcome.
And boy, was it good to be home!
We sure enjoy our 18 day family road trip and are thankful for all the memories and sweet time together that we were able to enjoy!
Not that we didn't have issues, like something stole out of our car, potty accidents, bloody noses, sickness, crying baby, ungrateful kids.....
but with all that in mind we will most certainly do it again!!
