Sorraya Adira is THREE!
January 22, 2017
Oh our Raya girl is silly, sweet and sassy!
There is a whole lot of personality in one little body. She is such a silly girl. She has such a fun outlook on life and sense of humor. She calls tank top shirt or dresses, "armpit dresses". She wants to wear an armpit dress for her wedding! She is very much a pattern setter and sticks to it. She loves having ice in her water bottle. She likes to help with it and she will lick or bite off any uneven pieces before she puts it in her cup. She loves chapstick and has learned to rub her lips together, as she often forgot to put any on her bottom lip. When we are driving home from church specifically, she got into this stage of turning her head as we pull into the driveway. She tells us she is going to do it and invites others to join in with her. She loves to dance and be silly. She is a little monkey and is jumping, climbing or hanging from something. She is quite brave and can be a little daredevil. She often wears miss matches pj's at night. She rocks wildly as she goes to bed- hands in the air flailing. She will come up in her pink glitter skirt in the mornings. She loves dresses and asks to wear one almost every day. She is so excited to have long hair like mommy and her friend Avery. She has many silly eating habits- both good and bad. She is more than ok with having the same thing time and time again over and over. She loves drinking keifer. She likes ice in her milk. She will take tiny bites and then wash it down with a swig of water until her supper is done. She can prolong a meal for such a long time. She will do anything or eat anything to get candy or a treat of some sort. She loves to mooch off other peoples plates and drinks.
Raya girl can be just the sweetest thing. She is a little lover and gives the best hugs. She will wrap her arms so tightly around your neck and her little thin but surprisingly strong legs around your body and just melts in. So many of my friends have commented on how sweet she is that she is often coming up for hugs or wanting to be held. She often is found sitting so close to Ryken as they watch a show or play on the iPad. She is an affectionate girl. She is a very thankful little girl. She often is the first to thank for a meal, a drink, a show on or whatever it may be. She often brings us her thankful journal to us and has something new to put into it. The littlest things really just mean the whole to her. She loves her daddy and just loves time, attention, praise and games with him. She is so trusting of others. She is quick to help and likes to be amongst what's going on. She enjoys helping in the kitchen and sampling ingredients along the way. She loves to sing. She will encourage on her own to others and say it such genuineness. She enjoys meeting new people, although is a little more shy than her brother as of yet. But she warms up quickly and becomes very talkative. The way she talks to Drayden is so sweet.
Sorraya is a sassy little thing. She has attitude, she has a mouth, she has a temper, she has wild emotions and she has facial expressions to showcase it all. She can be very disrespectful in the way she responds at times. She will snap, yell and scream at her brother. She response poorly when things don't go her way. She can cry over the littlest things and not even know what they are - but she cries nonetheless. We often speak of her as being nasty. She is one to push boundaries time and again and smile about it. She is quite destructive and is often found breaking things or just ruining.
Somethings Sorraya very much enjoys are coloring, baths, being involved in any and everything, swings at the park, special drinks, treats of any kind, sitting in Ryken's car seat when she just goes somewhere with mom or dad, she loves cereal, almond milk, keifer, gum, ice in her milk, brining up daddy's tea cup after work, buckling one part of her car seat, pushing the button on the van to close the doors, bows in her hair, pig tales, having her hair brushed, wearing dresses, wearing her monkey socks, stickers, "writing letters", singing, playing the underpants game, eating snow, playing in snow, TNT gymnastics, Walmart, watching the marching band, sliding down the stairs, playing with play dough, parades, help putting the clean silverware away, pizza, yogurt, balloons, jumping in puddles, ....
