Day 2 Day Joys: Jul 17-23

Week of July 17

Sunday Best!!
This little lady had started potty training a few weeks back...and she has finished her chart!!
Still a few accident here and there - but over all, she got the hang of it quite fast!
On Monday, we had our friends from SD come for a visit and they stayed with us till Thursday!
While they were here, my friend in the neighborhood called me 3 times and I missed them - that's never a good sign. I called her back and she was crying cause her little boy just broke his arm and she needed to get to the ER with him. Her husband already took him, but momma wanted to be there too. So we had the big sister come and hang out with us until they were able to come and get her.
Lots of sandbox playing!
Lots of bug catching as these two had a blast!
Josiah and Ryken have matching bikes!
One morning we went to a park for a little bit!
One evening the electricity went out because it was one of the warmest days and everyone was using there AC. So we were making the most of it outside playing soccer ball and in the sand box...or just taking a break and laying down!
The four put a puzzle together!
The boys colored their foam airplanes!
We we "grew" creatures in the water!
So glad they come to stay with us year!!
Always fun to see the kids play together!!
There are a number of wading pools in Moorhead that are free!
We tried one out with our friends, the Davidsons!
The water was deeper than I thought they would be - different than the other ones I had been too, so they were kinda limited in terms of what they could do.  Now I know!! :)
But Drayden was a champ and liked the splashing around and the water!
Afterwards, we dried off at the park!
Beautiful evening walk!!
On the iPad together!!
It was a hot day at the airport for lunch, so we sat in the shade and didn't stay too long! :)
But we went to an indoor arts and crafts event that the city put on!
Drayden's first time in the swing! He very much liked it!
Ryken wanted to help swing him too!
The kids with their crafts!
We went to Tutti Frutti to celebrate Raya being potty trained!
Beautiful colors in the clouds!
Went to the splash pad one afternoon!
They worked together, but just couldn't it to turn and spill over like it is supposed to do!

Celebrating the ordinary moments that make life extraordinary!!
