Family in Fargo

My parents came for a visit along with my sister and her two kids!
They stayed for a week and we made lots of memories and enjoyed the time together!

Friday

Family was welcomed with some cool rain!
Lots of warm hugs!!
Holding hands! :)
Aunt Kristin meeting Drayden!!
Popsicles!!!
Pretty cool clouds that were forming, before it started raining!
Lots of books read!

Saturday
Morning smiles!
Since it was raining, we went to plan B and went to Home Depot to build!
Ember's first time!
The serious painters!!
They were cell phone charging stations for Father's Day! :)
All the cuties in their aprons!
The sister took the babies to grocery shopping!
Raya staking yogurt!!

Sunday
All the kids in their Sunday best!!
Riding bikes!
These two liked running down the "hill" and giggling like crazy!

Monday
Still rainy and cool this morning, so we made bird feeders out of toilet paper rolls and peanut butter!
Kids did great and had fun, we think! :)
Off to the downtown library!
There is a room called the Wiggle room for the kids to play!
Reece was standing and looking in the mirror and just smiling and giggling!!
What a fun play kitchen!
We all got a treat afterwards!!
Kids for a smoothie and the adults all got coffee!!
For supper, we went to Duane's House of Pizza in Moorhead!!
Got a nice group shot not at the table!
Bath time!

Tuesday
We walked to the neighborhood park and enjoyed being outside!
Bird feeders are hung and ready for the birds to come!
Yard games
The little's hanging out!!
We got a new sand box and it came today! Chris started putting it together!!
There was a little bit of an issue that we couldn't fix that evening...so we weren't able to complete it!!
But Raya was excited for it none the less!!
Both boys were in their little brother jammies!

Wednesday
We all went to Elmwood park and had a blast!
Grandpa was great at pushing the kids on the mary-go-round!
The ziplane was a hit!!
All the kids tried it and were brave....and enjoyed it!!
Then the adults took a turn!! I missed out!!
Went over by the river and did a little photo shoot with the kids!!
On Sunday, we were invited to the Anderson Ranch for the afternoon!
It is basically like a petting zoo - but 10x better!
We were greeted by chickens!
They have little miniature ponies that were a hit!!...for some!
Ember was brave and sat on the pony! and even wanted to walk around with her for a bit!
Raya...well, I just put her up there and she thought it was alright once she was up there.
Just like them to try new things!
Dad had fun pulling people around on the pony cart! :)
A load full!
Played in the kitchen with dirt and mud!
They had little baby kittens!!!!
It looks so sweet with Kristin!!
...but it was hissing at me!
Up high in the barn loft!!
Nice group shot in from of the red barn!!!
How perfect!
Thanks Anderson's for such a fun time!!

Thursday
We went to a park for Community Days!!
It's basically a usually closed park, that is opened and there are yard games all over, bounce house, balloon animal makers and other fun things.

Here Ryken is growling like a dinosaur! :)
Trying out the hulla hoops!
They had these imagination blocks that were the coolest thing and the kids played with them for a long time!
Just lots of different shapes that you can fit together and make things and use your imagination!
Made an airplane!
I think this was some sort of submarine?!!?!
They made a track and we rolled the ball around it!
Played at the park a bit as well!!
Sweet boy!
Enjoyed the warm afternoon at the splash pad!!
First tme this year!
Grandma wore Drayden for me!! Big help!
Drayden getting his toes wet!
Ice cream sandwiches afterwards!!!
Played at the park nearby for a bit afterwards to dry off!
Chris fixed the problem with the sandbox and the kids enjoyed it very much!!

Friday

Someone was sad about leaving...
A friend from my mom's group let us barrow their car this week while everyone was here. It was such a blessing and so helpful! We were all thankful!!

It was a wonderful time. The kids had a blast together and it all went much more smooth than we thought it might have! :) Lots of memories were made and even more pictures!
Not sure when the next time will be to seeing everyone, but we are thankful for this time and look forward to the next time God allows!
