Day 2 Day Joys: May 15-21

Week of May 15

Sunday Best!!
Waiting for Daddy's quick meeting and we went and picked the few dandelions in the field!
Ryken was nuzzeling Drayden with his nose and asks if this is how mommy animals love their babies! :)
Our new favorite activity outside. Trying to drop the baseballs into the bucket from the deck!
Our sweet neighbor boy brought over bubbles for the kids!
Chris was in Chicago for 2 days due to work and we went to the park one evening. It was beautiful out and the kids sure had fun swimming together!
Family worship when Daddy's away...all the kids on my lap!
Good morning!!
Feel asleep playing!
Picnic at the park!
Borrowing a bug net and loved it!
A mother's perfect parking spot...by the cart carrel!!
Sweet Ellen came over for Pancakes one night when Chris was gone!
She loved her time with the kids!
They showed her their new favorite game!
This guys faces! :)
So serious!
So smiley!
Picnic at the park!
This park had the best swings for underdogs!
Ryken wanted to hold Drayden while he watched Thomas the Train!
Raya thought this was a blush brush! :)
Handsome little man in his suspenders and bow tie! :)

I kiss his belly every day...
...he is loved

...he is fearfully and wonderfully made

...he is strong

...he is an overcomer

...we are thankful

...I can't help it

...he is a gift

...God answers prayers

...we praise God for the work of His hands

...we can put this behind us

...our faith was increased

...we have good insurance

...he is a blessing

...there is grace upon grace

...of all the prayers said

...he is home

...he is loved

I got the idea for this post from a friend of a friend!

When we change Drayden's diaper and clothes and give him a bath- we see the scare!

It is there!

It is real!

And with it we can't help but give praise to God! Not once do we go without thinking of at least one detail of what he has gone through and what God has brought us through! Drayden's life will forever bring praise to our God for all He and His hands have done for Drayden and our family!

We are grateful...Everyday!

Kids pretending to be dogs! :)
Lunch at Costco with our friends!
They have the best frozen yogurt!
When Chris carries Raya, she always seems to find her foot in his pocket! :)
Ryken has been asking and asking to go pick dandelions...so we made it to a patch.
He ended up stomping on them or playing with a stick more than picking them! :)
But nonetheless, they had a good time running around!
They are sweet!
Look at that smile!
Making English Muffin pizza's!
First airport picnic with friends!
She spotted an airplane!
Drayden was such a champ...he sat in his seat and even took a little nap in the seat while we played at the airport for almost 3 hours! :)
The kids loved playing down by the trees!
We had to show our friends the great tree for sitting in....and each of them took a picture! :)
Chris and I celebrated 5 years of marriage this week!
We spent the afternoon at Maplewood!

Celebrating the ordinary moments that make life extraordinary!!
