Ryken has been practicing buttoning a shirt and has been doing very well, as long as he focuses and follows through.

We stopped by the hospital where Drayden was for those many weeks just a short year ago!

We came for this picture and to celebrate with a treat from the cafeteria!

Was hoping to see some of his doctors or nurses...but didn't!

Raya enjoyed the calendar to draw on now that we are done with it!

Ryken turned FIVE!!!!

He enjoyed blowing out his candles in the baked oatmeal!

He wanted a taco for lunch! We went to Qdoba!

Daddy surprised him to eat with us! That was the biggest treat!

After naps, he wanted to ride the ferris wheel at Scheel's!

Our good friend, Melissa, came because he asked to ride once with Mrs. Tobler and once with mommy!

Raya girl has been asking and asking to go since Ryken went!! She is almost tall enough!

Drayden enjoyed watching everyone around!

The man in charge of the ferris wheel asked if he could take our picture for us!! YES!

We had some gift cards to Barnes and Nobel and thought today was a good day for that! They loved looking all around! And we came away with some good books!

Ryken had a coupon for his birthday to choose a cupcake for free!

After supper...which was Chili (his request) we opened cards and gifts!

We surprised Ryken with a refurbished mini iPad! He was so excited and said "This is the best birthday gift ever!!!" 

Daddy put a Paw Patrol background for him even!

We also went to Walmart today and got new sheets and comforter for the top bunk! He graduated to the top and now Raya sleeps on the bottom! Such fun! And can you tell they weren't excited at all! ;)

After Drayden's eat, sometimes he is extra messy. But when he is super bad, we take the crumb bus to the sink and shake them all off of him! He always smiles during the little ride!

We had a special dinner at Space Aliens this week. Ryken has been asking to go there for awhile. He enjoyed it and especially liked it when dad took him into the Arcade room to look at all the games! They didn't play any games, but he is already talking about going back to play the games! 

But Raya girl was just the cutest trying to cut her pizza! Fork, knife and tongue - all of it! She can just be too much sometimes! :)
