Week of January 25
On Sunday, after evening service Ryken got to spend some time with Pastor Doug. He enjoyed looking around his office. There was a big clock with a horse on the top, which he loved.
Pastor Doug also had a big Conk shell that you can "hear the ocean" in. Ryken was scared to put it up to his ear!
Ryken also asked if he could climb on the ladder! He liked being able to touch the books now! Pastor Doug was very patient with all his questions and curiosity!
This little guy played with play dough for almost 2 hours!! It was so fun watching him play for so long and be so creative and imaginative with it.
He wanted to make a snowman. That started it all. We had a carrot for the nose and sticks for his arms! He loved it!
Then he asked me, "Mama, let't build a house!". I couldn't pass it up! He was so excited about my lame attempt. He asked for windows and a door.
He loved the people. Our family! He kept having them walk up the path.
My 'head' kept falling off and boy did he laugh every time it did!
Rachelle and Ivan came over for Rachelle's birthday lunch this week!
The kids played nice!
I came across these bath markers in the dollar bin at Target a few weeks ago. They were cheap and were weird and I wouldn't recommend them! But they still had fun with them anyways!
Since we built our snowman in the snow, Ryken has been asking to watch Frozen. So we picked it up at Redbox and he sat and watched it all! He seemed to really enjoy it this time!
Haircut this week! He sat so good! He always says it's itchy on his neck, so the ladies always use the hair dryer to blow off the air. He got a lollipop! Happy boy!
We went through the carwash after his haircut! Ryken still was a little hesitant and scared...but he made it! I assured him he would!
Leo came over to play this week!
His mom is in my Exhale group!!
Went to the library this week!
He loves to pick out books!
He likes the puzzles too...even though none of them have all the pieces!
Sorraya got a tooth brush this week!
It was an exciting time for the whole family to see her joy with the toothbrush and the mirrors!
On Friday, we went to TNT gymnastics for the kids to play!
A few other Exhale mom's came as well!
He loved the foam pit this time!
He went in a couple times and just crawled to the other side!!
This cracked me up!
It was a blow up pool filled with a ton of beanie babies!
We were down on Main street (when we were at TNT), which is by a bun of railroad tracks and we heard one coming, but didn't see it!
Ryken asked if we could see it! So instead of going turning onto the interstate, we turned into a parking lot and waited and watched the train! Ryken loved it!
He still asks to put his own Nutella on his bread here and their.
Caught him reading his books!
Chris got us a treat on Saturday!
We have this place called Gigi's cupcakes that just opened up! I think it is a lot like Sprinkles cupcakes (if you have heard of that - but I have never been there either...so who knows) Anyways, they were some of the best cupcakes we have ever had before!

WOW! 2 hours playing with play dough.... that is impressive. Ember must not really like it because she usually lasts 10 minutes at best! And your gymnastics place is so much like the one we went to. The foam pit is a replica - and Ember was pretty scared of it at first. And Ember did her first car wash yesterday too and cried. It is a little load and does kinda seem like the car is being attacked! :) Love Sorraya with her toothbrush! And those cupcakes look so good!
