6 Months

Our sweet little boy is 6 months old today. 1/2 a year already! I hope the next 6 months don't go as fast!

Over 2 feet long now!
Getting better at sitting!
Loves being on the belly still and putting everything in his mouth!
Likes to get on all fours now and rock!
Loves those fingers! :)

We have a happy, healthy, active, growing boy!

At 6 months, Ryken is 15 lbs 11 oz and just over 2 feet tall. He likes to talk. Makes lots of noises. He still loves to stand, and now loves to bounce. Still rocks away on his hands and knees. He has tried bananas, apples, and pears. Seems to like Banana and apples the most out of those three. He drools like crazy. Spitting up has decreased. He likes sitting in his Bumbo to eat. He is obsessed with feet. He likes riding on daddy's shoulders and holding on to his ears. He think water bottles are a fun new toy. They help him get crawling down. He really started to get moving this month. He started just dragging his legs, then moved to being a little inch worm and now is slowly starting to get the knees and hands working together. He is starting to find you in other rooms. There is lots he can get to now, and lots he gets told not to touch. He likes looking out the door. He sometimes gets on all fours and then lifts up one hand and tried to balance. With that saying, he bumps his head a lot more! :( He loves people, loves to interact. Loves to smile and flirt. He likes to skype with Grandparents and Auntie K. He still loves mirrors. He is a wild boy, always moving, turning, twisting, leaning and lunging. He still pees when he goes into the tub and enjoys bath. He loves to suck his thumb. Getting stronger at sitting up on his own. He loves being on mom and dad's bed. He went on his first hike this month. He has no teeth yet. He loves Dad so much and loves when he plays with him. Dad makes him laugh lots. He is a champ when it comes to the cooler weather, never complains. Seems to enjoy car rides the most so far this month. Loves going for walks. Loves to be sung to. His hands and feet are always moving when he is in his car seat; he makes quick little circles with hands and feet and opens and closes his hands too. The more excited and stimulated he is, the faster it goes! :) He also started this head tilt action.
