Here are Ryken's 5 month old pictures!
They are getting harder and harder to do! :)
Had to get him grabbing his toes in one of them. He does it all the time now.
And now we want to eat paper!
Ryken weighs 14.5 lbs and is so close, if not 24 inches long. He is a very active little boy. He scoots around and finds ways to get places. He can turn over from back to belly and he remembers how to turn over again from belly to back. Thank goodness. He likes to 'swim' when he is on his belly. He also spits up when he is on his belly. poor guy! He LOVES to put anything in his mouth. Still loves chewing on fingers...especially dads. He loves mirrors. He loves to talk. He sucks on his thumb often. He really seems mesmerized by the spider plant that moves when the air conditioning is on. He is interested in screens. He likes when dad talks in his normal voice, he just smiles at Chris. He likes to be sung to. Likes silly voices. Loves when people yawn. He belly laughs when dad scoops him up fast and start kissing his cheeks, tummy and legs. Also when dad "drops" him from way up high. And when he is in his bouncer and we give him some big bounces. He likes hanging upside down and flying. He squeals in delight! :) He sleeps on his tummy now. Takes pretty good naps now. Still is up some at night, usually twice. He loves his little stroller and taking walks. He loves baths still. He is starting to sit up on his own. He is working hard on getting the hang of crawling, but not too close yet. He likes oatmeal cereal better than rice cereal. Still loves to eat. Doesn't care for the nursing covers as much anymore. He enjoys the outdoors better now. He loves people and interacting with them. He is getting good at scooting back. He is getting up on his hands and knees now and rocking back and forth. He figured out how to bounce in his Johnny Jump Up. He likes tags and sucks on them. He likes to swing at the baby swings at the park.
