One Month!

Ryken Christopher is 1 month old already today! It flew by! We learned a lot already this month and look forward to learning much more the coming months!

At 1 month old, Ryken loves to eat! He now loves to be on his tummy. He takes naps that way often. He also now likes to lay on his back under his colorful floor mats toys. He finds them more exciting than when we tried before. He no longer seems to enjoy the car ride as much. He still dislikes his car seat a great deal. He loves getting a bath now, just not the moment of getting out of the bath and into a towel. He does love the warm towel from the dryer! He loves looking at our couch and any lights. He seems to be awake all day! :) He does sleep pretty good at night. 3-5 hour stretch at first, and then 2-3 hour stretches after that. With 1-3 wakings during the night. He is a champ at lifting his head while on his tummy moving it from side to side with no problems. He loves to be in the wrap close to mommy. He likes when the congregation at church sings! He likes to hold mommy and daddy's fingers! He likes the dryer and dishwasher's noises. He likes being on the changing table. He loves to be swaddled. He voices himself very well. Began making new noises. He started spitting up a bit more now. He loves ceilings and our apartment hallways. :) (This record is more for me to help remember, but figured those who care wouldn't mind knowing about our sweet boy. :)
